                           Zinc Phosphate 1000x  (Before Paint)                     Zinc Phosphate 1000x  (After Stripping)             

     The purpose of this study was to evaluate the affects MILES-patented paint stripper products technology would have on zinc phosphate crystal structure morphology and coating weights. Panels tested received zinc phosphate pretreatment and complete automotive system paint. The paint was then stripped with MILES patented technology and compared under 1000x micrographs to the zinc phosphate control panels.
      The underlying phosphate crystal morphology and zinc phosphate coating weights were then compared to the original phosphate coating.

The scanning electron photomicrographs at 1000x show that the crystal structures of the chemically stripped panels were very similar to the originally processed panels.
