MILES 8659 is a non-methylene chloride, thickened gel, aluminum wheel stripper formulated to remove all types of cured coatings from aluminum, brass, stainless and steel. MILES 8659 can be used to remove Automotive OEM coatings from Aluminum Alloy Wheels overnight. Non-flammable, acid accelerated alternative to hazardous methylene chloride strippers. Not safe for use on magnesium, may be used on Galvanized and certain types of Zinc substrates at room temperature.
Tire Rubber must be removed from wheel/rim prior to using stripper. Stripper will attack Wheel rubber, Latex, Acrylics, Vinyl, Fiberglass, PVC and ABS plastics.
